La Zacatecana

$1,300.00MN / PERSONA ADICIONAL N/A

House number 6 on La Flor Alta street had been uninhabited for many years because legend has it that it was haunted.

More than 50 years ago, a couple arrived from Zacatecas and the husband was the owner of various mines.

After having purchased the house and renovating it, the couple was always seen together, well dressed and happy. One day the wealthy miner disappeared and his wife, La Zacatecana, told everyone that he had returned to his hometown to do some business there. However, the butler reported that the wife had sent a man to kill her husband and then promptly murdered the killer, burying them both inside the property of the house.

This house is now called the museum “The house of the Zacatecana” and is located on Independence street and was the center of a tragic story of the 17th century in Santiago de Queretaro.
